Instead of listening to President Obama’s news conference last night, Rep. Eric Cantor of Virginia chose to go to a Britney Spears concert to raise money for his political action committee. In describing Spears and her concert, the Minority Whip said:
It was quite a show. You know, I hand it to the performer. I mean, she was something.
I honestly don’t know what’s worse, Cantor’s political judgment or his taste in music.
